General Information
Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias (formerly Hotel Gardenias) is one of the most traditional hotels in La Paz. It is located only minutes away from downtown and only three blocks from the jetty, in a local quiet street. Hacienda Bugambilias was built in 1950 to be a hospital and it became Hotel Gardenias in 1972. In 2010, the building was completely redesigned, incorporating the resemblance of a Mexican Hacienda from the 18th century. Despite all the advances of technology to make your stay comfortable, you will go back in time as soon as you cross into our entry gate. Offering a family and business atmosphere, the hotel features a business center, a restaurant with four different menus (Mexican, French, Italian and Argentinean specialties), bar, swimming pool and a souvenir boutique. Cancellation Policy There is no cancellation fee if reservation is cancelled at least 15 days prior arrival date. In case of groups cancellations must be at least 30 days prior arrival date. In case of no-show or late cancellation, you will be charged with one night's room charge. Restrictions may apply. No Show Policy If No Show occurs, a one night stay fee will be charged. Extra Person Charge Extra person charge is for $100.00 MXN per extra person in room. Minors Policy Up to 11 years old children will be considered as minors. 12-year-old and older children will be charged as adults. 2 children under 12 years can share room with 2 adults. Pets Policy Small pets are allowed. A deposit of $1,000 pesos is required. The deposit will be refunded Oversold Policy In case the Hotel is oversold and cannot offer you the contracted service, to the client with a reservation from UNIVISIT, the Hotel by its own count will find adequate alternatives to supply the service contracted, that will meet or give better service than the original benefits contracted. The hotel will pay a one night stay plus taxes at a similar Hotel. The guest will be transported by the hotel to the new hotel. The guest will be permitted at least one phone call to his house or office.
