General Information

Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias (formerly Hotel Gardenias) is one of the most traditional hotels in La Paz. It is located only minutes away from downtown and only three blocks from the jetty, in a local quiet street.

Hacienda Bugambilias was built in 1950 to be a hospital and it became Hotel Gardenias in 1972. In 2010, the building was completely redesigned, incorporating the resemblance of a Mexican Hacienda from the 18th century. Despite all the advances of technology to make your stay comfortable, you will go back in time as soon as you cross into our entry gate.

Offering a family and business atmosphere, the hotel features a business center, a restaurant with four different menus (Mexican, French, Italian and Argentinean specialties), bar, swimming pool and a souvenir boutique. In order to make your visit even more comfortable, Bugambilias offers you a spacious parking lot, car and motorcycle rental, laundry service; wake up service and room service, telephone, fax and wireless internet service in public areas. The hotel offers a total of 56 rooms, all of them equipped with two double beds, air conditioning, telephone and color TV.

We are located three blocks from the Malecon and a few blocks from downtown, near Secretaría de Salud, Comunicaciones y Transportes, Capitanía de Puerto and CONAP. For convenient transportation, a private taxi charges 350 pesos from the airport to the hotel, and a collective taxi charges 175 pesos also from the airport to the hotel.

We have Standard Rooms on the first and second floors, with 2 double beds and room for 4 people, adults and children. CANCELLATION POLICIES
Any reservation cancelled 15 or more days prior to the arrival date is subject to a 10% penalty charge off the reservation total.
Any reservation cancelled within 14 to 3 days prior to the arrival date is subject to a 1 night stay penalty charge.
Any reservation cancelled within 2 to 0 days prior to the arrival date or No Shows will not be refunded. No refunds apply on early departures.
Christmas, New Years Eve, Holidays:
Any reservation cancelled 31 or more days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 10% penalty charge off the reservation total.
Any reservation cancelled within 30 to 15 days prior to the arrival date is subject to a 1 night stay penalty charge.
Any reservation cancelled within 14 to 0 days prior to the arrival date or No Shows will not be refunded; No refunds apply on early departures.

RESERVATION POLICIES
By completing your reservation, you grant us full authorization in writing to use the credit card number provided in order to execute payment, as well as confirming that you acknowledge and accept our reservation, payment and cancellation policies as well as delimitation of responsibilities. All reservations are subject to availability at the time of processing your request. The availability can not be guaranteed until completing the total payment.

PAYMENT POLICIES
The reservation confirmation is subject to the bank authorization upon any credit card number that you provide. In case of payment issues, we will get in contact to the phone number that is provided by you.

The reservation amount will be charged instantly to your credit card, and will show in your account status on behalf of: “UNIVISIT.COM”.

For reservation payments, we accept Visa and Master Card Credit Cards. In case you don’t have any of the credit cards mentioned above, you can complete your payment by means of a bank transfer. For further information please contact one of our Travel Advisors.

The rates published in our site will be priced in several currencies, which will be dully specified at the time of booking. If currency is other than Mexican peso (MXN) it is subject to be converted into Mexican Pesos (MXN) upon the current exchange rate. Please note that the amount that will appear in your credit card ticket may vary up to a 3% due to the international fluctuation of currency exchanges.
