What to Do in La Paz

We highly recommend the visit to the Serpentarium of La Paz, located very close to the downtown area. The majority of the exhibits are found out in the open, where you will be able to observe various species of reptiles that inhabit this ecosystem, such as snakes, turtles, iguanas, lizards, and reptiles from other parts of Mexico, such as crocodiles. The purpose of the Serpentarium of La Paz is to have a place where the public can understand and learn about the importance the reptiles have in the food chain, the respect they deserve and need in nature.

Another fantastic option for a day trip will be the Aquarium, presenting the colorful residents of the waters of the Sea of Cortés, such as the Cortés Angel and the Seahorse, among hundreds of other species that will surprise the visitor with their colors and forms.
